Email Automation

Prerequisites: Complete Email Sender Setup and have at least one Email Template created before setting up automations.

Creating Email Automations

Email automations allow you to create sophisticated follow-up sequences that nurture leads and maintain contact with your prospects automatically. Build multi-step sequences with customizable delays between emails. Unsubscribe mechanism is built in. Unsubscribers can be found in the Settings → Blacklist tab.

Automation Creation Process

  1. 1. Navigate to Automations → Create Automation
  2. 2. Give your automation a descriptive name
  3. 3. Add email steps by selecting from your existing templates
  4. 4. Configure delay durations between steps (hours, days, or weeks)
  5. 5. Repeat step 3 and 4 as desired

Starting Automations for Contacts

Once your automations are created, you can enroll contacts in multiple ways. Automations can be started in numerous ways.

Manual Enrollment Methods

  • Individual Contact: From contacts table action menu
  • Bulk Enrollment: Select multiple contacts and use bulk action menu
  • From Contact Details: Use automation button on contact profile
  • From Deal Details: Enroll deal contacts directly from deal page
  • Automation Dashboard: Use manual enrollment from automation detail page

Managing Active Enrollments

Monitor and manage all running automations in the Automations → Active Automations tab. This gives you complete visibility into your email sequences and allows for real-time management.

Monitoring Features

  • Real-time Enrollment Tracking: See who's currently in each automation
  • Step Completion Status: See which contacts are in which step of the automation

Timing Optimization

  • • Send emails during business hours for B2B contacts
  • • Space emails at least 2-3 days apart to avoid fatigue

Content Strategy

  • • Use different subject lines for each email in the sequence
  • • Personalize content with contact variables from your templates
